Business 101 for High School Students

I moved from Manhattan to a small town in Connecticut not too long ago, and I’ve been searching for ways to get involved in the community. Through conversations around town, I learned that both students and their parents are eager for more high school education that focuses on real-world, practical business skills - and if it gives them an edge on college applications, even better.

So I’ve decided to put my skills and experience to good use. I’ll be offering juniors and seniors a Business 101 course covering networking and resumés, research and strategy, marketing and branding, and entrepreneurship. The goal of the course is to inspire students to pursue their own business ideas, teach them professionalism and the language of business, and help them prepare for and thrive in their college of choice.

I’m really excited to create this curriculum for my town. If you have any ideas, please send them my way! And if you'd like access to the coursework once it's prepared, let me know.
