Four-Year Anniversary

This is the first of what will become a short weekly note from me to you each Friday. I’m including you in this because we have a personal connection and have done some fantastic, meaningful work together.

This note is meant to be a way for us to keep in touch, and I’d be delighted to hear back from you any time. This will not be another noisy, salesy newsletter. It will always be genuine, concise, written personally by me, and it will always respect your time.

When I founded Do Feel Think over three years ago, I wanted more from my 50-60 hours of work each week. As I took on leadership roles, I became more of a manager and less directly involved in the work that I loved.

If I’m honest, founding DFT was a bit selfish; an experiment to see if I could move closer to the work again, working with good people who value our partnership and care about the work as much as I do. Together, these virtues would lead to gratifying work that makes a difference not only for me, but also for my friends, peers, colleagues and clients.

In its fourth year, I think I can say that DFT is a success on these merits.

This brief weekly note will surely evolve with time, but I hope that this will be a personal connection every Friday to talk about shared experiences, goals, successes and challenges we all face.

Thank you for your support and for being part of the DFT story.
